Many sources have shared some illustrations present in “A feast for Crows” Illustrated Edition.
Unfortunately, the race towards AGI and AI seems to be the latest exploited resource for money and general greed.
The result is exactly the lazy imaginery you can expect.
An official post on the George R.R. Martin blog states they are not aware of AI use and the artwork was presented as made by a digital artist. When asked, he denied any AI usage.
Well that’s good to hear, we can now appreciate mediocre art if it’s being considered made by a human (it’s evidently not, but let’s not get stuck on details).
That’s got to suck.
